Building our home with Heartwood Custom Homes was the best decision we could have made. It’s a common thought that building a home is one of the most stressful events a person can go through. For us, that could not be further from the truth. Heartwood truly made it a stress-free and approachable process. They continually impressed us with their attention to detail, knowledge, and communication.
● Attention to Detail: Heartwood caught any plan discrepancies or errors before they occurred. If any errors did occur, they would be corrected almost immediately. The team was so on top of everything, we never had to worry about anything being rectified.
● Knowledge: Heartwood provided invaluable insight into our design choices to make sure we were staying with the design style of our home. The process can be overwhelming, but their incredible knowledge of home construction design helped keep us sane. We leaned on their feedback for stylistic choices, efficiency recommendations, and plan tweaks. They truly understood the vision of our home and worked with us to achieve it.
● Communication: The consistent weekly updates were helpful and exciting to receive. Since we were approximately an hour away, the updates allowed us to easily follow what was going on without having to travel to the site. They also were always available for questions and concerns. They were patient and walked us through the entire process and made sure we understood each decision we made, and never made us feel as if we were taking up too much of their time.
Heartwood Custom Homes did more than just build us a house. They understood our vision, lifestyle and needs and built our family a home. We cannot imagine going through that process with any builder other than Heartwood Custom Homes and would build with them again in a heartbeat.
